NSW Interschool Girls' Teams Chess Challenge 2015

Date:
Thursday, 20th August 2015

This was a record breaking year for the NSW Interschool Girls' Teams Chess Challenge - 80 teams participated, up 12 from our previous record of 68 teams!

Even with so many extra teams, the girls conducted themselves admirably, meaning that the tournament ran smoothly and on time, without any major disputes.  And although there was some serious competitive chess being played, good sportsmanship and a friendly atmosphere were noticeable - and especially appreciated by the less experienced players.
