The University Chess Challenge 2014 was held at the same time as the Macquarie University Chess Challenge 2014 for primary and secondary school players. This year there were 15 entries and they shared the venue with 470 other players.

1st Place - David Webster 6/7
2nd Place - Bernard Chau 5.5/7 (2nd on tiebreak)
3rd Place - Christopher Ball 5.5/7 (3rd on tiebreak)
4th Place - Adrian Chau 5/7
5th Place - Sai Abhishek Bhonsle 4/7 (5th on tiebreak)
