Sunday Fun Tournament July 2012

40 players entered our Sunday Fun Tournament June 2012, held on Sunday 3rd June at Sydney Academy of Chess. However, Paul Russell, convincing winner of the June Sunday Fun Tournament, was sick and had to withdraw, to give everyone else a chance! So that left 39 players. Congratulations to the trophy winners and medal winners for the July tournament:

1st Place - William Tao 7/7 (trophy)
2nd Place - Linus Cooper 6/7 (trophy)
3rd Place - Edgar He 5/7 (trophy on tiebreak)

Also a special mention to the players on 5 points out of 7 who missed out on a prize, as Edgar had the highest tiebreak: Viney Kumar, George Bai, Luke Watson and David Chen.

Best Unrated Prize - Evan Gauci 4/7 (medal)
JCL Under 500 rating Prize - Richard Zhang 4.5/7 (medal)
JCL Under 400 rating Prize - Anthony Liang 3.5/7 (medal)
