The Inner West Chess Challenge 10 was held on Tuesday 10th April, 2012 at the Latvian Society Club in Strathfield and attracted a field of 225 players. Of these entries, 112 of these had JCL ratings including 25 players over 500.
After 8 rounds there was a clear winner on 7.5 points - George Bai. Congratulations George on a fantastic result! We now have a giant silver cup, which contains the names of all past and present winners since 2007. George's name will now be added to the cup.
Thanks to all of our arbiters who did a great job, especially helping the new players with the use of chess clocks, and the tournament rules.
