Each round begins at 7:30pm (one game per week on Fridays).
Dates are: 27 February, 6 March, 13 March, 20 March, 27 March, 17 April, 24 April.
The tournament is a 7-round ‘Swiss’ competition. This means that all players play 7 games and no-one is ‘knocked out’ of the tournament. The time limit is 60 minutes per player per game with a 30 second increment per move from the start.
Players with a FIDE Standard rating under 2200 are eligible to enter. Unrated players are also welcome to join.
This tournament will be FIDE and ACF rated.
All players must record all moves on a scoresheet.
1st Place: $1000

4th Place: $300
5th Place: $200
U/2000 FIDE: Book Prize
U/1800 FIDE: Book Prize
