Each round begins at 7:30pm (one game per week on Mondays).
Dates are: 13 October, 20 October, 27 October, 3 November, 10 November, 17 November, 24 November.
The tournament is a 7-round ‘Swiss’ competition. This means that all players play 7 games and no-one is ‘knocked out’ of the tournament. The time limit is 60 minutes per player per game with a 10 second increment per move from the start.
Players with an ACF Classical rating under 1600 or a FIDE Standard rating under 1800 (if ACF unrated) are eligible to enter. Unrated players are also welcome to join.
This tournament will be FIDE and ACF rated.
All players must record moves on a scoresheet until they have less than 5 minutes remaining on the clock.
