Burwood Autumn Open Tournament (FIDE Rated)

Cost: 

$100 if paid on or before 31st March
$120 if paid after 31st March

Time: 

7:30pm - Clocks start each week (except 23rd April, no games)

Dates are: 2 April, 9 April, 16 April, 30 April, 7 May, 14 May and 21 May.

Format: 

7 rounds Swiss tournament, open for all ages and rating.
The time limit is 60 minutes + 30 seconds per move from the start.
This tournament will be FIDE and ACF rated.

All players must record all moves on a scoresheet.

Prizes: 

1st place: $1500
2nd place: $1000
3rd place: $600
4th place: $400
5th place: $200

Under 2000 ACF: Book prize + Wooden chess set
Under 1800 ACF: Book prize + Wooden chess set
Under 1600 ACF: Book prize + Wooden chess set
Under 1400 ACF: Book prize + Wooden chess set
Unrated ACF: Book prize + Wooden chess set

Conditions of Entry:
All foreign players must have a FIDE Identification number. Australian Citizens & Permanent residents without FIDE ID numbers will need to provide DOB prior to the start of the event, or their entry will not be accepted. Foreign players without a FIDE ID number will not be accepted. They will need to obtain a FIDE ID number from their National Federation and advise that number, prior to their entry being accepted.

Children under the age of 18:
- You must be an Australian Citizen, or a permanent resident, or have a FIDE ID as a Licensed Player.

Players 18 years of age or over:
- You must be an Australian Citizen, or a permanent resident, or have a FIDE ID as a Licensed Player.

If you are not a FIDE Licensed Player, you must ensure that the FIDE License fee is paid before entering the tournament.
It is best to contact your overseas FIDE federation and follow the correct procedure.
