Sydney Academy of Chess is pleased to announce that we will be running weekend regular
Advanced / Intermediate online Chess Classes with FIDE Instructor Poyraz Kucukarslan.
Coach Poyraz's credentials are the following:
- FIDE Instructor
- Chess coaching experience: 10+ years
- 8000+ hours of group coaching experience
- Trained many of his students to achieve the top 3 in rankings in their age groups in NSW
- Enthusiastic, passionate and a full-time Chess trainer at Sydney Academy of Chess
Coach Poyraz will be conducting 2 online groups :
- Saturday Group 8.00am to 9.00am - Advanced Extension Group - starting 03/02/2024
- Sunday Group 8.00am to 9.00am - Intermediate Group - starting 04/02/2024
These sessions are more focused, interactive online coaching sessions, coach will be discussing opening ideas tailored for each child, work on tactical and positional patterns, and go through famous games highlighting different chess concepts. There will be puzzle contests and also the students will play in tournaments which the coach will analyze each game.
These are special small groups, enrolments are limited to maximum 10 students in each group and enrolled only on a first come, first served basis.
Fees: $440 for Term 2 2024 ($44.00 per hour per child, term commitment)
